About Us

Quality Care @ Home

Quality Care @ Home was established in January 2013. The Owner and Registered Manager is Kelly Murray. Kelly is Hereford born and bred, has worked in the Care Sector for many years in between raising her family and continuing education. Kelly is passionate about improving people's quality of life and supporting people's independence. Kelly and her team strive to continue and maintain the independence of the Service Users to enable them to live in their own home. Kelly has been in previous managerial roles before the launch of Quality Care @ Home, managing teams of 30+ staff successfully. Kelly then decided that she wanted to undertake the task of her own Domicilliary Care Agency and that is when Quality Care @ Home was born. Kelly worked alone for the first few months to ensure that the policies and procedures were appropriate and then began recruiting and training new Support Workers to work to Kelly's ethics... Quality Care @ Home is now a reputable, successful Service Provider of which Kelly and her team are very proud of.

Quality Care @ Home's mission is to provide a person-centred approach and high-quality support based on the individual's needs. In order to make sure the tailored care plan is effective, we complete an initial assessment to establish the person's needs and then together, we build a personalised care plan which suits you/your loved one. This care plan will be reviewed on a quarterly basis, unless there is a change in needs or the individual requests a review at their convenience.

Our Support Workers are enthusiastic, trustworthy and have a great sense of humour. They are all vetted and (in-house) trained to a high standard to provide an excellent standard of care and to reassure individuals that they are well supported. As well as Mandatory training, such as Safe Handling of Medication, Moving & Handling, Health & Safety, Basic Food Hygiene, Safeguarding & First Aid,  we also provide specialised training i.e. Dementia, Dignity and DoLs. Our Support Workers also undertake QCF Level 2 & 3 Health and Social Care and the more adventurous ones attend courses such as Expert Evaluator and IOSH Health and Safety Training to add to their knowledge and experience.

The strategy we use is the 'Mum Test'... Is the support we provide, good enough for my Mum? Yes. it is!
